Condemn Israel for massacring civilians and murdering journalists

Israel's recent military actions in the Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza have resulted in horrific massacres of innocent civilians, including journalist Hasan Hamad. Deliberately targeting journalists and members of the press is an egregious violation of international law and human rights. The massacre of displaced people sheltering in tents near hospitals is an act of unconscionable brutality. The Geneva-based Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor issued a report (euromedmonitor.org/en/article/6494) this week documenting “the most prominent crimes committed over the past 12 months.” Since Israel’s genocide began a year ago, the group states, an estimated 10 percent of Gaza’s population has been killed, injured, reported missing, or detained as a result of Israel military assaults.
