An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Protect Social Security, Medicare payment systems from corporate interference

5 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

As a legislator who represents all Arizonans, do what is right and protect Social Security from being gutted. Reports of attempts by allies of billionaire Elon Musk to seize control of the payment systems that handle Social Security benefits are deeply alarming. These systems provide a crucial financial lifeline for millions of Americans, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families with low incomes. Any political interference or partisan agenda risks jeopardizing the timely delivery of these hard-earned benefits. Social Security must remain independent from corporate interests and ideological agendas, serving solely the public interest. Clear safeguards are urgently needed to prevent any individual or organization from exploiting or undermining the integrity of these vital programs. It is your duty as an elected representative to protect Social Security from being gutted and ensure it continues to provide essential support to our nation's most vulnerable populations.
