Back Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez if she challenges Chuck Schumer for his Senate seat in 2028. Schumer has proven, repeatedly, that he is incapable of leading this party through the most serious challenges we have faced in generations. We need someone who actually fights.
The numbers back this up. A Data for Progress survey found 55% of likely Democratic voters would support Ocasio-Cortez, compared to just 36% for Schumer. She has raised over $32 million since 2025 and has built real coalitions with younger voters, women, and Hispanic voters. Her favorability among likely Democratic voters isn't a fluke — it reflects a base that is hungry for leadership with a spine.
Schumer's moment has passed. AOC has the energy, the resources, and the mandate to take this fight seriously. Make clear publicly that you support new leadership for New York and for the Democratic Party.
