THESE ARE THE ACTIONS OF YOUR CHRISTIAN NATION?

I’m perpetually surprised that the GOP seems happy to go along with President Trump’s crusade to turn America into a thuggish country and a transactional democracy. Happy to go along with ‘self’-deporting immigrants who trusted in the promise of America when they fled whatever horror their homes had become. Trusted that we would do what we promised…give them refuge. And hope. Now Afghans, Haitians, Venezuelans, Ukrainians…all being asked to go back where they came from. When temporary protected status is revoked, to be considered in the country illegally and subject to deportation. To be sent back to countries that are barely functional. That in some cases have promised them death. But thank goodness the folks from South Africa made it out alive. At this point we really should consider sending the Statue of Liberty back to France. We’re not that country anymore. If we ever were. You should be ashamed. But I doubt you are.
