An open letter to the U.S. House of Representatives

Oppose the SAVE Act (H.R. 22) - A Voter Suppression Bill

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The SAVE Act (H.R. 22) would impose stringent voter registration requirements that disproportionately disenfranchise millions of eligible Americans, particularly women, the elderly, low-income citizens, and those with disabilities. Over 21 million citizens lack ready access to documentary proof of citizenship like birth certificates or passports. This unduly burdensome requirement serves no legitimate purpose, as there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud. The SAVE Act is a blatant voter suppression tactic that must be rejected. I urge you to protect the fundamental right to vote and oppose this discriminatory legislation that undermines free and fair elections.
