Newsom has failed trans people

Gavin Newsom just signed the death knell for trans rights. California has been a leader but has just capitulated to the extreme right who have been weaponizing trans lives as a wedge issue. As the governor just showed, it worked. We’ve already seen the dehumanization of people experiencing homelessness. Now that trans rights are clearly on the chopping block. Who’s next? Being a diet Republican isn’t going to win you votes. Republicans will just vote for the full fat version. May your political career be as strong as your resistance to fascism. Trans women are women. Trans rights are human rights.
