Protect NCAR. Trump is the only disaster we should be dealing with right now.

Good morning. As you are aware NCAR is a research team dedicated to the study of weather, earth’s atmosphere, and catastrophes. The work being done by these scientists is instrumental in predicting and handling the outcomes of national disasters. Donald Trump and the architect of Project 2025, Russell Vought, just announced their order calling for NCAR to be permanently dismantled and their research suspended as a gift to the Big Oil & Gas industry. Our ability to understand and fight climate change would be decimated if he succeeds.  Even with NOAA and NCAR and FEMA working diligently, we’ve seen what happens when disaster strikes. During Katrina, massive loss of life occurred when landfall occurred and the levees failed. During Sandy, the northeast lost electricity for, in some cases, weeks and even months. These disasters happened in spite of NCAR. Can you imagine the impact had we not seen them coming? Tell Trump we don’t care about his opinions on big oil. We care about his opinions on little people- WE THE PEOPLE. Protect NCAR!
