Firing the Messenger Will Not Fix the Economy

The July jobs report was a reality check: weak hiring, massive revisions, and a slowing economy. Out here in the real world, we are making less, paying more, and watching layoffs pile up. Trump’s solution? Fire the BLS commissioner for doing her job. He wants a new statistician who can crunch the numbers into a MAGA bedtime story. Shooting the messenger is easier than fixing the mess. We all know this administration lies and distracts. We are supposed to trust a president who lies about his own physical, cheats at golf, throws tantrums on Truth Social, naps through meetings, and wakes up long enough to fire anyone who tells the truth. You keep nodding along like this is normal governance instead of a clown show run by a man whose entire life has been one long con. History and heaven will not remember you kindly for playing court jester to a president who thinks data should be as fake as his spray tan. You were elected to serve the people, not to prop up a delusional bully who cannot handle facts. Do the damn job you were elected to do before there is nothing left to govern but wreckage and excuses.
