Hello, I’m writing in support of amending the language in H.R. 6, the American Dream and Promise Act of 2021. Immigrating people encounter a racist criminal legal system that disproportionately targets Black and brown communities. I support the bill, but am joining the growing chorus asking to remove criminal barriers from the Dream and Promise Act before voting yes. Thank you.
