JUST HOW LOW WILL THE GOP GO BEFORE IT’S ENOUGH?

“I’m Senator Alex Padilla. I have a question for the secretary.” Which apparently makes you a threat to the union resulting in being dragged out, forced to the floor, and handcuffed. In a press conference for Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem in LA yesterday, her security assaulted Senator Alex Padilla, the highest-ranking Democrat on the Senate Judiciary subcommittee on immigration, citizenship, and border safety. With oversight of federal agencies with citizenship, asylum, refugee, and immigration enforcement responsibilities and after weeks of requesting more info on the increasing violence of immigration tactics, with no answers, he saw an opportunity to ask questions in a venue that might prompt answers. So he identified himself and asked a question. The jackboot response tells you everything you need to know. If this is how this administration responds to a senator with a question, if this is how the Department of Homeland Security responds to a senator with a question, you can only imagine what they're doing to ordinary people snatched from their daily lives. We are told he ‘lunged’ at the secretary. Speaker Johnson said as much, while suggesting the Senate should censure Padilla for “wildly inappropriate” behavior. But there’s a problem with this fabricated BS. There’s a video. So Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) answered: “This is a lie. We all saw the video. The Senator clearly identified himself, and he did not ‘lunge’ toward anyone.” She added: “If these miserable propagandists will lie to you about roughing up a U.S. Senator in a room full of reporters, what won't they lie to you about?” If you can’t muster outrage about one of your own being treated this way, how about this? “We are not going away. We are staying here to liberate this city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city." This is Kristi Noem telling us the Trump administration is vowing to get rid of the democratically elected government of California by using military force. That threat is the definition of a coup. We the people are sick of the GOP Congress demonizing, lying, aiding and abetting the daily erosion of our country. You are enablers of destruction. And you do nothing but watch it, or pretend it’s not what it is, or cheer it on with your silence. America is about to explode. I hope you’re ready for it.
