Tell The CDC To Do Their Job

I am your constituent and I want to bring two things to your attention. The first is that the Trump administration illegal slashing of budgets has forced military bases to close child care centers on base leaving military families in the lurch. That’s no way to treat families who decided to put their lives on the line for all of us. I want you to contact the Department of Defense and demand to know how they can treat military families so shabbily. Second I want you to know that advertising campaigns for preventive health really work. Almost all industrialized countries do that to make sure that illnesses can be caught early and treated more easily than if they linger. They also make sure to let people know to get vaccinated against preventable illnesses, like Measles. Well the CDC just said they don’t want to do that because people already know about it so they will just be quiet. I want you to demand they start protecting public health instead of what they are doing which essentially promotes illness. In case you haven’t noticed we are in the midst of a multi state measles outbreak that already killed one child. Please make the CDC do their job. Thank you.
