Pete Hegseth Must Resign

The Signal breach is unforgivable, and everyone involved should be censured and penalized. Pete Hegseth needs to resign. It doesn't matter that Mike Waltz is taking the fall for this- everyone in the group chat was an adult, everyone in that chat knew what they were discussing (including the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, eventually), and everyone in that chat had the opportunity and the responsibility to see who was included in their discussion, even setting aside the horror of them using a commercial chat app to discuss classified information. This is what happens when unqualified people are put in charge of important things.
