IL House delegation and congressional democrats should be ashamed of HR7006

It is utterly disgraceful that so much of Illinois’ House delegation voted yes on HR7006, including Rep. Budzinski. This bill included $3.3b in grants earmarked for Israel while it is continuing to perpetuate genocide, in addition to other measures rejecting Palestinian autonomy, restricting reproductive freedoms, and failing to support accountability in healthcare. The IL House delegation should be ashamed. I will be making contributions to the Blaha and Coghill campaigns in response. The Senate must reject this measure or be held equally accountable for the continued loss of respect for the Democratic Party and for Congress.
