Stop Funding Trump's Personal Legacy Projects

Use every tool available to you to block funding for Trump's self-aggrandizing construction projects in Washington. The president himself admitted in a New York Magazine interview that he's building monuments to himself — a triumphal arch, a White House ballroom, a 250-foot arch near Arlington National Cemetery — saying "nobody will do it once I'm gone." That's not a national security argument. That's a legacy project on the public dime. A source close to Trump told CNN the quiet part out loud: "The one thing they can't tear down will be the East Wing. That is his lasting impact. That's why he cares so deeply: legacy sh*t." Even some congressional Republicans and Trump's own advisers are alarmed, warning these projects could hurt the GOP in the midterms.
