Investigate President's Betrayal of US Troops The commander-in-chief's outrageous endorsement of an Iranian missile barrage targeting American troops at Al Udeid Air Base is an unconscionable dereliction of his most sacred duty to protect those who defend this nation. Consciously permitting a hostile power to unleash deadly force against US personnel, even with supposed "advance warning," is an unforgivable betrayal. While the air defense crews who thwarted this traitorous attack deserve the highest honors, they never should have been forced into such an untenable situation in the first place. A comprehensive investigation must be launched immediately to determine whether the president's reprehensible actions violated his constitutional oath and rendered him unfit to lead as the military's commander. Our brave service members put their lives on the line daily; the least they should expect is a commander-in-chief dedicated to safeguarding them - not risking their lives to, “make a deal.” His open admission of accepting Iran’s quid pro quo offer shows that he truly doesn’t view our service members as individuals and valuable members of society, but rather as consumable and replaceable assets that he was willing to cash in to pay for his warmongering bravado. This is unacceptable.
