Ending Early Is A Problem

Why are you not calling out Speaker Johnson — who claims as you do to be a Christian — for ending the House session early to hinder your Democrat colleagues from pushing for a vote that promotes truth and justice by way of releasing the Epstein files? Is protecting President Trump more important than doing what’s right? I cannot express how disgusted I am that you voted against the July 15 effort yourself. Proverbs 23:23a says, “Buy the truth, and sell it not.” Where is your voice in seeking the truth in this matter? This is the equivalent of taking your ball and going home simply because you don’t like the other team. This is not how adults, let alone political leaders, behave. You may not have the power to make right what Speaker Johnson just did, but you have the power to use your voice to demand accountability and mature behavior. Consider the future as well: if this is how the GOP handles business when in power, how will you react when the Democrats have the majority? The more you normalize the expanse of an iron fist for one side, the more the other side will have when you lose power.
