$34M stolen from TN via NIH grant terminations—do something

The state of Tennessee has now lost over $34 million in federal NIH grants terminated illegally by the Trump Regime. These funds were approved and allocated by congress. They have been terminated not based on scientific merit, but on a petty word search done by anti-science unqualified people who worship at the altar of MAGA/MAHA. That’s $34M that could provide the next cancer treatment. That’s $34M that could improve maternal mortality rates. Thats $34M that could cure Alzheimer’s. That’s $34M that could prevent SIDs. That’s $34M that is poured into our state that provides wages for scientists, doctors, hospital and clinic staff, janitorial crews, tradespeople, chefs and nutritionists, pharmacists, safety officers, public health employees, etc. That’s $34M that will not be infused into Tennessee’s economy.
