An open letter to the U.S. House of Representatives

Condemn Rep Greene’s treatment of town hall constituents

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

Members of Congress have a responsibility to engage respectfully with all constituents and refrain from dismissive or inflammatory rhetoric, regardless of political differences. Rep. Greene's mocking tone towards attendees who raised legitimate concerns, her refusal to directly answer questions, and the use of force by law enforcement against protesters raise serious issues about her conduct. While heated exchanges occur at town halls, Greene's apparent attempts to marginalize dissenting voices rather than listen to constituent feedback undermine democratic principles. Her actions during this event seem to fall short of the standards expected of an elected representative and warrant review by her congressional colleagues and House ethics bodies to uphold transparent and civil discourse with the public.
