No military money for non-existent communism.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson said during a press conference this month that the administration needs an additional $350B to fight communism on our shores. I believe this is a ridiculous scare tactic, there is no communist uprising in progress. More importantly, the military cannot be used simply to fight a political ideology, including communism. Under U.S. law, the armed forces cannot be deployed domestically to police or suppress people based on their political beliefs, speech, or associations.  The military already devours far too many much of our budget, they DO NOT NEED MORE!!! To reiterate, The primary legal barrier is the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878. This federal law strictly prohibits the use of active-duty federal military forces (the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Space Force) for domestic civilian law enforcement. THE MILITARY CANNOT FIGHT COMMUNISM ON OUR SHORES. THE MILITARY DOES NOT NEED ANY MORE MONEY!!!
