An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Please stop Haitian deportations

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

It’s been two weeks since the world learned of Haitian refugees seeking safety in Texas, and to our horror, we learned that instead of offering food, shelter, and medical care, they were offered beatings and deportation. A crime against humanity does not cease to exist once it falls out of the news cycle. The deportations have not ceased. I am urging you to do all in your power to stop these deportations and offer the aid so badly needed to citizens of a nation punished since its inception for its existence. Tell President Biden that these deportations are not just human rights violations— they are an outrage that Americans will not forget next year or in three years.
