Our military is strongest when it reflects the diversity of the nation it serves, promoting equal opportunity and respect for all who answer the call to defend this country. As someone who has served on the frontlines, I understand firsthand the importance of leadership that fosters inclusivity and prioritizes mission readiness above personal ideology. Confirming Hegseth would send a dangerous signal about the direction of our nation’s military, risking its integrity and professionalism. I urge you to reject this nomination and instead advocate for a leader who embodies the values of pluralism, equity, and dedication to all service members.
