Don’t Blame Crazy Left Wingers for Atheism—Blame GOP Hypocrisy

24 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

I was genuinely moved to hear that the Ten Commandments will be displayed in classrooms across Texas. What a bold statement of faith—and what a beautiful opportunity for all of us, especially those in power, to return to God’s ways. I take this as a public declaration that the Republican Party intends to start living these commandments—not just printing them on posters. So I trust that means: 1. You’ll no longer treat Donald Trump as a god-king, defending every sin and lie while demanding loyalty only he deserves. 2. You’ll stop creating graven images—including monuments, golden flags, coins, murals, and campaign banners glorifying Trump. If we’re returning to Scripture, surely his face does not belong on sacred ground or public buildings. 3. You’ll stop invoking God’s name to justify cruelty to immigrants, silence dissent, or push policies that hurt the least of these. 4. You’ll be closing all businesses on the Sabbath, correct? That includes restaurants, retail stores, school events, campaign stops, and major sports. And since Jesus was Jewish, I assume the Sabbath begins Saturday—and as Christians, you’ll honor Sunday too. That’s two full days without commerce, games, or golf. After all, if our kids must see this commandment daily, surely adults can uphold it weekly. 5. You’ll honor your elders not just with words, but with policies that protect Social Security, fund veterans’ care, and support caregivers. 6. You’ll take “Thou shalt not kill” seriously—by ending support for the death penalty, especially in states that claim to be pro-life. And you’ll shut down internment camps for immigrants that cage human beings like animals. Killing doesn’t always happen with a weapon—it can happen with policy, indifference, and systemic cruelty. 7. You’ll finally confront the adultery, abuse, and broken vows in your own ranks—not just preach about it to others. 8. You’ll stop excusing fraud, bribery, and billion-dollar grifts just because the thief supports your party—or pays Trump for a pardon. 9. You’ll stop spreading lies about elections, immigrants with MS-13 tattoos, kids being forced into sex changes, and pets being eaten—yes, we heard that one too. 10. And you’ll stop coveting applause, revenge, and other people’s power—especially foreign nations like Greenland, Panama, and Canada. While you’re at it, maybe ask why your leader keeps posting edited images of himself as a Pope and a King? I am praying that this isn’t just political theater. That the Ten Commandments aren’t just a decorative shield for hypocrisy. That they’re a genuine call to repentance and renewal—not just for children, but for the adults who claim to lead them. As Scripture reminds us: “You Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness. You foolish people!” — Luke 11:39–40 If you post it and don’t live it you will only encourage atheism.
