Reject discriminatory anti-transgender bill in Texas

The proposed "gender identity fraud" bill in Texas that seeks to criminalize individuals for identifying with a gender different from their assigned sex at birth is a blatant violation of the fundamental rights enshrined in the Declaration of Independence. By denying transgender individuals the liberty to express their authentic selves and pursue happiness through living as their true gender, this bill contravenes the very spirit of the Declaration's promise of inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all. Criminalizing one's core identity is morally reprehensible. Transgender individuals are not engaging in any fraudulent activities by living authentically as their true selves.
