Issue a Bipartisan Statement Condemning Any and All Political Violence

I’m writing as your constituent to thank the Ohio leaders who issued the recent bipartisan statement condemning political violence and calling for respectful dialogue across party lines. Our democracy depends on the ability to speak and advocate without fear of harm. In light of recent tragic events, I urge you to publicly support that statement and issue your own bipartisan declaration affirming that political violence has no place in our communities or our politics. Taking a clear stand together — across parties — would show constituents that our representatives value safety, humanity, and open democratic debate above all else.
