Defend Our National Parks—Reject Any Effort to Dismantle Them

I am outraged at any proposal to defund, dismantle, or weaken the National Park Service. Our national parks are a cornerstone of American heritage—public lands set aside for all citizens to enjoy, whether for hiking, hunting, fishing, or simply experiencing the beauty of our great nation.
Closing parks and stripping protections would be a reckless betrayal of the generations who preserved these lands for us. Handing over their management to untrained private entities would not only endanger conservation efforts but also open the door to unchecked industrial exploitation at the expense of the American people.
These lands are not just playgrounds for the wealthy or resources to be sold off—they belong to all of us. They provide recreation, protect wildlife, and ensure future generations can enjoy the same freedoms and natural beauty we do today. Prioritizing corporate interests over responsible stewardship is unacceptable.
I urge you to fight against any effort to weaken the National Park Service. We have a duty to protect this national inheritance—not squander it.
