Safeguard separation of church and state, protect democracy

The establishment of this so-called White House Faith Office is a blatant violation of the separation of church and state, a core tenet that has safeguarded our democracy for centuries. This administration's pandering to religious zealots and their unbridled attempt to inject their narrow beliefs into governance is a direct assault on the freedoms we hold dear. It is unconscionable that taxpayer funds are being funneled into an office that exists solely to promote particular faiths while trampling on the rights of those who do not subscribe to those beliefs. This egregious overreach threatens to erode the very foundation of our secular republic and opens the floodgates for discrimination against non-believers and minority religions.
