Stand Up for Pennsylvanians with Disabilities
19 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!
I urge Pennsylvania leaders to publicly oppose the proposed federal rule that could reduce SSI benefits for disabled adults who live with low-income family members.
Many Pennsylvanians with Down syndrome, autism, intellectual disabilities, dementia, and other significant disabilities rely on SSI while living with parents or relatives. Reducing these benefits would place additional financial strain on families and could force some individuals into more restrictive and costly settings instead of allowing them to remain at home.
Please speak out against this proposal, advocate for Pennsylvania families with our federal representatives, and support policies that help people with disabilities live safely and with dignity in their communities.
