A child in Gaza wakes each day to the sounds of explosions, the screams of neighbors, and the cries of family members. The night sky lights up not with stars but with flashes of destruction. This child has seen buildings collapse where loved ones once lived, has lost friends, and has watched family suffer from hunger, unhealed wounds, and a profound hurt that seems invisible to the outside world.
Why is it, they wonder, that the world doesn’t see their suffering? Why does a government that claims to stand for justice and freedom continue to help those causing so much harm? Each weapon and dollar sent deepens the cost paid by their childhood, their dreams, and sometimes even their lives. How much more suffering must they endure for others to see? When will leaders understand that supporting those who oppress them is taking their very lives?
All they want is a chance to grow up, to live without fear, to simply be children. Though they may not understand politics, they know that what is happening is wrong. They plead for the bombs, the tanks, and the weapons to stop. They ask for the power to be used not to harm, but to protect, to let them live in peace. They ask for an end to the suffering.
I DEMAND :
- Immediate ceasefire to halt all Israeli hostilities in Gaza, Lebanon and the Middle East.
- Total arms embargo on Israel, prohibiting all sales, transfers, and shipments of military equipment, weapons, and ammunition to prevent further violence.
- End the Israeli occupation of Palestine. Etablish an international monitoring body to enforce adherence, ensuring accountability for any violations and to safeguard Palestinian communities.
- Reallocation of resources away from military support and toward humanitarian aid, infrastructure rebuilding, and medical supplies for Palestinian civilians in Gaza. Full restoration of funding for UNRWA to support displaced and vulnerable Palestinian populations.
