Support fairness and inclusion for transgender athletes in women's sports.

Transgender women are women and should have the same opportunities to participate in sports according to their gender identity as any other women. This policy promoting discrimination and exclusion from women's sports seems misaligned with principles of equality and fairness upheld in most athletic governing bodies. Substantial anecdotal evidence indicates many cisgender women athletes support having transgender teammates and value inclusion over banning entire groups from competition. I urge considering the perspectives of all affected athletes before restricting rights based on gender identity or expression.
