Protect Medicaid. Honor your sworn duty.

It’s grotesque—and a direct violation of the oath every representative takes—when twenty lawmakers pretend to write a letter that was drafted by an unelected lobbyist. This isn’t just about Medicaid. It’s about the deeper rot of graft and influence-peddling in our government. When think tanks and private interests dictate policy, democracy is replaced by backroom deals. That’s not public service—it’s corruption. We demand transparency and accountability. Elected officials must represent us—not lobbyists, not corporations, not ideological donors. The public deserves to know who is really writing the laws that shape our lives. We also recognize and thank the twelve Republican lawmakers who “broke ranks” by honoring their oath, and signed a thoughtful letter opposing these Medicaid cuts. Their commitment to protecting their constituents is commendable. But the bigger fight is against systemic corruption itself. We call on every lawmaker: Do your job. Protect the Constitution. Serve the people—not the lobbyists. Public service must be about the public, not about power or profit. No more backroom deals. No more pretending. We demand real representation and honest government—nothing less.
