Denounce Authoritarian Actions and Defend Democracy

The targeted ICE raids in Democratic cities and mass pardons for January 6th participants demonstrate a dangerous politicization of law enforcement and justice. Furthermore, the pressure on states to redistrict in favor of one party, arrests of Democratic legislators and officials, and the use of federal power to punish political opponents are tactics straight from the authoritarian playbook. These actions, combined with threats of annexation against other countries, paint a chilling picture of a government veering dangerously close to fascism. As my representative, I implore you to take a strong stand against these unconstitutional and un-American actions. We need you to vocally oppose any attempts to undermine our democratic processes, abuse executive power, or infringe upon civil liberties. I urge you to support and introduce legislation that strengthens checks and balances, protects the independence of our judiciary, and safeguards our electoral system. Time is of the essence.
