Block Funding for Forest Service Restructuring and Relocation

I need you to block all funding for the Forest Service headquarters relocation to Salt Lake City and the closure of the agency's ten regional offices. This restructuring will destroy the agency's ability to manage 193 million acres of public land.
Moving headquarters to Utah is not coincidental. Utah is currently suing to seize 18.5 million acres of federal land and already has de facto control over eight million acres of national forest through Governor Cox's recent deal. Embedding fifteen political appointees as "state directors" in state capitals, while shuttering regional offices full of career professionals, replaces scientific expertise with political operatives answerable to governors and industry lobbyists.
The consolidation of over fifty research facilities into a single Colorado location will end decades of irreplaceable long-term ecological research. You cannot move a thirty-year watershed study or restart old-growth monitoring programs. When BLM headquarters moved during the first Trump administration, 287 of 328 employees left the agency. Only three actually relocated. This is designed to purge institutional knowledge and scientific capacity.
Congress controls appropriations. Refuse to fund this demolition of federal land stewardship. This requires a congressional vote, not executive action alone.
