Redistrict Our State To Protect Democracy

Republicans are gerrymandering states’ election maps to lock their anti-democratic autocracy. It is time we took action in our state to protect ourselves. That committee charged with providing maps to the legislature for approval is comprised of two Democrats and two Republicans.  They are unable to come to terms since compromise is no longer a viable option. We want you to support and enact legislation to allow new maps to be submitted to the legislature now for use in the next three election cycles.  Additionally, I want you to make sure that a non-partisan, independent citizen panel is established to approve district maps at the completion of each federal census thereafter.
