An open letter to the U.S. Congress

ICE will be at polling locations per Bannon and Trump

23 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

Steve Bannon, convicted felon and former senior advisor to Trump, said that the federal government is planning to send ICE officers to patrol polling stations during this year’s midterm elections. “We’re going to have ICE surround the polls come November,” Bannon said on his War Room podcast. Addressing Democrats, he continued, “We’re not going to sit here and allow you to steal the country again. And you can whine and cry and throw your toys out of the pram all you want, but we will never again allow an election to be stolen.” Is our federal government planning on election interference? Are there plans for ICE to intimidate American citizens as they exercise their right to vote under our Constitution? Does it even bother you that a convicted felon is speaking for our government? And saying “WE”? Does he speak for the Trump administration? Does he speak for you? Given his involvement in the Jan. 6 Insurrection, his rhetoric is extremely concerning. When will you hold a press conference to repudiate Bannon and Trump?
