The State of Hawaii just passed a first-in-nation bill targeting the Citizens United ruling. I believe the Maryland legislature should quickly follow suit. An actual despot is at the door because of this treasonous ruling by the Supreme Court of the US enabling corporations to spend unlimited sums of money on their elections. It is our responsibility to take a stand against the corruption rotting our society.
