I am writing to demand immediate congressional action to enforce the subpoenas issued by the House Oversight Subcommittee and release the full Jeffrey Epstein files. The American people have waited long enough. We deserve to know who enabled Epstein, who profited from his crimes, and who continues to benefit from a system that shields the wealthy and powerful from accountability.
On July 23, the Oversight Subcommittee voted 8–2 to subpoena the Department of Justice—a bipartisan call for transparency and justice. Additional subpoenas for key witnesses were approved the same day. But rather than enforcing those subpoenas, House leadership left for recess. The files remain hidden. The cover-up continues.
Meanwhile, Congress just passed a $4.5 trillion tax-and-budget package that gives billionaires permanent tax breaks while slashing government oversight. The very same billionaires named in Epstein’s little black book weren’t just connected to his crimes—they’ve helped write the rules that protect people like him. They hold political influence, legal protection, and now, even greater financial power thanks to policies passed in their favor.
And working people are paying the price. Their healthcare is being slashed. Their food assistance is under attack. Their tax dollars are funding a government that protects predators while punishing the public.
This is a moment of truth. The subpoenas have been issued. The votes are on record. There is no excuse for delay. Enforce the subpoenas. Release the Epstein files. Let the public see the truth. Justice—and our democracy—demand it.
