Demand a vote on any further military action. Withhold funding for troop deployments that lack congressional approval. The American people deserve a say through their elected representatives before we commit to another Middle Eastern war.
This conflict has already disrupted global oil markets and threatens the Strait of Hormuz, through which one-fifth of the world's oil passes. The stakes are too high for Congress to remain silent while the President acts alone.
