Insurrection

I know you already know what needs to be done. I know you hurt as we hurt. I know your anger is our anger. I know your actions will be our actions. However, I would be remiss to make those assumptions without making it very clear what we, your constituents, require from you at this juncture in our journey as a party, as a nation, and as humanitarians. The Trump administration has laid waste to our democracy. They have led their followers to believe that there is autocracy in insurrection. They have encouraged their followers to attempt a coup. Still, they encourage their followers through their response to that coup, through their social media, through their lackadaisical actions and reactions, and through their rhetoric, to continue their attempts against our system of government. We the people of the United States of America need you, our fairly and democratically elected officials, to put a stop to the insurrection. Do all that is in your power to quash this uprising. Invoke the 25th. Impeach. Convict. Make it stick. This isn't about our present anymore. This is about the future- ours, our children's, and our nations. We implore you to act on behalf of the good conscience of this country.
