Focus on pressing policy issues, not partisan attacks

Republicans are clearly wasting time and taxpayer resources by holding hearings scrutinizing the mental fitness of a former president who is no longer in office. There are far more pressing issues facing the nation that demand the attention of Congress. Rather than fixating on partisan attacks, lawmakers should be dedicating their efforts to addressing substantive policy challenges and serving the needs of the American people. This political theater is an unproductive distraction from the real work that needs to be done.
