An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Condemn proposed unlawful invasion of Gaza, uphold human rights

2 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The proposed US military occupation of the Gaza Strip and forcible relocation of its nearly 2 million Palestinian residents is a violation of international law and human rights. This unilateral action disregards the rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination and threatens to derail crucial ceasefire negotiations and efforts to release hostages. Rather than pursuing unlawful invasions motivated by real estate interests, the United States should support a just and peaceful two-state solution that respects the sovereignty and dignity of both Israelis and Palestinians. As a constituent, I urge you to condemn these alarming statements from the President and uphold the principles of human rights and international law in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
