An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Uphold Due Process and Habeas Corpus Rights for All

14 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

Every person in this country deserves due process and habeas corpus protections under the law, regardless of immigration status. The abduction and detention of Marcos Henrique and Lucas Segobia by ICE officials on their way to work, without any charges being filed, is a blatant violation of their Constitutional rights. Holding them at an undisclosed location away from legal counsel is unacceptable. I urge you to take immediate action to secure their release and uphold the basic judicial principles our nation was founded upon. Failure to do so undermines the rule of law and erodes civil liberties for all. This injustice against Henrique and Segobia represents an attack on the rights and dignity of every person residing in our communities. We must stand united against such outrageous government overreach and demand habeas corpus protections for all.
