An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Protect national forests from unsustainable logging and exploitation

41 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

This executive order prioritizes unsustainable logging practices that jeopardize the ecological integrity of our national forests. It allows private corporations to clearcut these public lands for profit without proper environmental review. This reckless exploitation threatens biodiversity, endangers wildlife habitats, and undermines the forests' vital role in providing clean air, water, and mitigating climate change. Logging should not take precedence over conservation and protection of these invaluable natural resources that belong to all Americans. I urge you to oppose this misguided order and defend our national forests from destructive commercial interests. We must preserve these public lands through science-based forest management that balances sustainable use with environmental stewardship for current and future generations.
