An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Your anti fentanyl legislation is pointless

12 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

Continuing the failed war on drugs approach is a waste of taxpayer money that does little to address the root causes of addiction and overdoses. Instead of creating another ineffective task force, funding should be allocated to evidence-based treatment programs, harm reduction services, and addressing the socioeconomic factors that contribute to substance abuse. Proven strategies focused on reducing demand through compassionate care will save more lives and provide a better return on investment than supply-side interventions alone. Prioritizing access to mental health and addiction services over criminalization is a more ethical and effective way to tackle this public health crisis.
