Reinstate LGBTQ+ Youth Crisis Hotline Funding to Save Lives

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The Trump administration's proposed defunding of the 988 Lgbtq+ Youth Specialized Services hotline is an unacceptable attack on the rights and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ youth. This vital crisis support line has provided services to over 1.2 million people since its inception in 2022. Cutting off this lifeline will endanger already vulnerable LGBTQ+ young people who face higher risks of suicide and mental health crises. Reinstate full funding to uphold the government's duty to ensure equal access to potentially lifesaving care and resources for all citizens, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation. Stand firm in supporting LGBTQ+ civil rights, including access to affirmative and inclusive health services. Defending this program is a matter of protecting lives and human rights.
