An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Congress Needs to Fund SNAP to Prevent 42M Citizens From Going Hungry

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

Congress needs to fund SNAP benefits so food insecure families don't starve during the shutdown. The fact that Congress still collects a paycheck during a shutdown while food stamps disappear for millions of hungry Americans is despicable and shameful, and Congress needs to act now so 42 million people who rely on governmental food assistance don't have to let their children go hungry while their elected Congress people continue getting paid to do nothing. Shame on Congress.
