What a long hot summer. And all the hot air coming from DC doesn’t help anyone’s mood.
God help us to survive until November. It’s going to be a bumpy ride.
Here are some of the current flies buzzing around our heads…
Sailors stuck at sea on the equivalent of Poop Cruise and prez says so what.
Iran war going strong. Prez says I’ve got all the time in the world. We’re winning. And so what if you have to pay more for gas. Do you want Iran to blow us up? Don’t be a commie.
We must have a ballroom. It’s a national security issue. We have to be able to party safely.
(One might wonder why we don’t just stop with the underground bunker etc. if security is now the primary objective. Is it absolutely necessary that it be topped with a golden ballroom?)
Todd Blanche awaiting orders on how he can help secure the elections in November. How about 1000 election ‘observers’ to start? Then we might need troops to guard the observers?
In the meantime we now hate South Korea because they don’t want to join our endless, budget-busting Mid-East war. But the love affair with North Korea continues.
Remind us who the commie lover actually is?
Oh and our military is seriously considering taking our technology backwards because our commander-in-chief wants everything to look like it did in WWII. Change the plane designs. Change the plane-grabbers on carriers because someone told him they were better.
I’m no expert but shouldn’t we be taking notes from the successes of high-tech low-cost technologies like drones? And not be focused on spending all our treasure on antiquated notions of military might?
David vs Goliath might need a revisit.
Oh well. From the outside looking in it seems like the Trump administration is just trying to do as much damage and make as much money as possible while they can.
Example. A US president is trying to make his own crypto-venture into a real live bank.
If this happens, kiss any semblance of ethics, morals, duty to country, or respect for anything other than making a profit off the presidency, goodbye.
He spends our money recklessly and fecklessly while making billions off of the office we gave him.
Is this really what we want for leadership? We the people are not as stupid as they believe us to be.
Are we?
