NO Coyote Compound

NO on Coyote Compound. NO on for-profit prisons. NO on taxpayer-funded unscrupulously managed ICE detention centers. I read in the news that the NV Republican Party is planning a ‘Coyote Compound'. It would be an expansion project to an already existing private Southern Nevada detention center. I read in the news that the Nevada Republican Party wants a high-security ICE detention center designed to detain and process "illegal immigrants". However, we know that it is being proven repeatedly that the Trump administration is allowing ICE to actively detain US citizens, as well as immigrants with no criminal record. ICE is then denying these people due process, holding them in deplorable conditions, and illegally deporting many of them. I don't want Nevada to develop a shameful reputation like Florida (ICE detention facilities with abhorrent conditions, a lack of transparency concerning practices and detainees, and creating irreversible environmental conditions). Contact Governor Lombardo and demand he put a stop to the idea of a Coyote Compound. Publicly oppose the Republican Party's Coyote Compound. NO on Coyote Compound. NO on for-profit prisons.
