Support public schools

Please oppose using $432 million in public funds to support private school tuition over the next two years, including for unregulated religious schools. Only 17% of the EdChoice expansion recipients in 2023-24 qualified as low income, compared to 67% during the 2022-23 school year. If the affluent want to send their kids to religious or other private schools, they don't need a taxpayer subsidy to do so, especially one that comes at the expense of public education.
