Rein in billionaire influence over democratic processes

Elon Musk's ability to derail a bipartisan budget deal through his social media platform and wealth is catastrophic to our democratic process. No unelected individual should be allowed to leverage such oversized influence over elected officials and legislation. I demand measures to limit the corrosive effects of billionaire wealth and interests on our political system. Public policy decisions must be driven by the will of the people expressed through free and fair elections, not by the whims of billionaires who face no accountability to voters. I demand that you take concrete and actionable steps to curb the excessive political power of the ultra-wealthy and ensure policy decisions remain firmly in the hands of elected representatives accountable only to their constituents. The United States of America are not an oligarchy, and far too much of our county is already under the influence of the ultra wealthy. Do not allow what remains of our Democratic process to be purchased by a man who destroys what he touches.
