I urge you to support the VISIBLE Act, introduced by Senators Padilla and Booker, which requires federal agents to display clear identification and limits the use of masks during enforcement. I also call on you to demand immediate investigations into ICE practices and to ensure no agency is allowed to operate in the shadows. When government agents feel compelled to hide their faces, it tells us something: they know these actions will not stand up to public scrutiny. If they are ashamed to be seen, perhaps Congress should question whether these operations should be happening at all.
